A research-driven exploration of the relationship between interior design and human emotions. The project investigates how colour, lighting, materials, textures and spatial organisation can influence the way we perceive and experience a space.
The research was translated into a visual book that explores five emotional states, calm, comfort, coldness, energy and stress, through moodboards and carefully designed interior spaces. The book combines research, visual experimentation and graphic design to show how interiors can be intentionally designed to create specific emotional experiences.
